MS Dhoni’s legend grows on and on. He showed his excellence in Australia and won ‘Man Of The Series’. As India have now headed off to New Zealand for ODIs & T20s, MS Dhoni has found a lot of success on the Kiwi soil.
The 37-year-old has scored 541 runs in New Zealand at an average of 90.16 from 12 matches. The veteran wicketkeeper-batsman, who first toured New Zealand in 2009 has scored six half-centuries but hasn’t scored a century yet.
Notably, Dhoni is third on the list of most runs scored by a batsman in India-New Zealand ODI series in New Zealand. With 456 runs from 10 matches at 76, Dhoni is sitting behind Sachin Tendulkar (652 from 18 matches) and Virender Sehwag (598 in 12 matches).
With the recent heroics he showed down under, there is no one denying the fact that he can eclipse Tendulkar and Sehwag.
